The Callum Jackson Adventure Series follows a Glaswegian on a series of journeys through Scotland and beyond — each one stripping something away and leaving something more useful behind. The books were published out of sequence deliberately. Read them in any order. They reward reading in series order.
Coming in the Series:
Walking the West Highland Way 100 miles. Scotland's soul. An identity question with no easy answer. Future publication — date to be confirmed.
Walking the Portuguese Camino Lisbon to Porto. Porto to Santiago de Compostela. Two stages. One unfinished question. The Portuguese Way in two stages — walked in March 2024 and October–November 2024, arriving in Santiago on All Saints' Day. A future Callum Jackson title. Future publication — date to be confirmed.
A NOTE ON THE SERIES ORDER
The Callum Jackson Adventure Series was published deliberately out of sequence — Book 1 in September 2025, Book 3 in June 2026, Book 2 in September 2026. This was a conscious literary and strategic decision: each book stands alone, and the order of publication mirrors something true about the way journeys work. We don't always know where we've been until we've seen where we're going.
If you're new to the series, start with Book 1. If you've already read one, read them all — in series order when you're ready.

Book 1 — The Way That Loved Me Back
